Farwell Calabria - Hello Rome

The time has come much sooner then expected to say ci vediamo to Calabria. I was meant to be staying here for a few months, however I have been called into action early and will be starting work on 24th Feb...and in case you are wondering where - I shall be returning to the Eternal City that is Rome. I am swapping my short lived village life for the bright lights of the beautiful capital of Italy. I have worked and lived in Rome before and loved it...there is so much to do and so much to see, each day there is a new place, monument, bar, gelateria etc... to discover and one can never get sick and tired of looking at the Trevi Fountain, which happens to be my favourite monument (although it is over run by tourists.)

Before I start work however bel ragazzo and I will be jet setting off to Amsterdam for 4 nights. First time for him, second for me, however I visited the city 6 years ago and my memory is not so good...Once the holiday is over, back to reality which will see bel ragazzo leave me all on my own in Rome :( ..... ( Not because he is nasty but because he has to have an operation! So really it is I who is deserting him.)

So stay tuned and tales from the red light city shall be coming soon...

Rome will be great! Your bel ragazzo can always get the train up and vice versa. Enjoy Amsterdam!

Hi Delina, Hopefully the bel ragazzo will not have to get the train as he will be moving (fingers crossed) up here too!

Hi Michelle, Yes - I'll have to stay tuned to your blog for updates from Calabria :)
