Another one of my favourite things

This baby is not only the most beautiful baby in the whole world, but he also happens to be my nephew - my twin sisters baby. When I was in Australia last January-March I found out that my twin was pregnant with this little bubby. I then went back to Australia last November to meet him!

It is very sad that Australia is so far away and I can't see this face everyday, but I see him on skype and he is coming over for my wedding next year and will even be one of my page boys!

Isn't Skype a Godsend? My sister's daughter and grandchild live thousands of miles from her and I think that Skype has helped keeping her from going crazy!

What a gorgeous nephew you have. It sucks living so far away from family but thank God for Skype! My sister and her two little uns live in Australia and it's so hard not being able to see them. We talk regularly on Skype though and I'm sure my niece who is 3 thinks that we are characters on some strange TV show! When she gets bored of talking to us she says 'Can you switch it off now mummy'!

Hi Gil,
Skype is such a godsend - even if the time difference can make it a little tricky - when you finally do get through it is worth it!

Hi Sarah Elizabeth,
You too have a sister in Australia! How funny that the kids ask to switch you off. I am sure my little nephew will do that when he is older.

What a gorgeous wee man!! I have an 8-month old and we live a 2 hour flight from my parents. So skype will soon be our friend as well.
Looking forward to summer in Calabria and as it's been a few years since we've been there, I'm catching up via your blog. It's lovely! I am a little nervous about traveling now that we are three.. any advice you might have would be received with much appreciation.
Congratulations on your lovely new nephew and your engagement!
