I must say I had to throw away a little bit of bread the other day, but still could not make myself kiss it so I just threw it in the bin when no one was looking!Leanne was in Italy now in Australiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03240105726417037664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2945600374886655820.post-34276042074142959662008-08-15T12:56:00.000+02:002008-08-15T12:56:00.000+02:00My husband TOTALLY kisses the bread if it has to b...My husband TOTALLY kisses the bread if it has to be thrown away!! He grew up in Torino, but papa is from Puglia and Mamma from Messina, so you see . . . this was a cool post -- you wrote the anecdote so well, and the history you looked up was totally fun!Kim B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10781364799805651100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2945600374886655820.post-56385101177349202032008-03-20T10:46:00.000+01:002008-03-20T10:46:00.000+01:00Piccola, you must ask your boyfriend but most prob...Piccola, you must ask your boyfriend but most probably it is because he grew up in the North.

Delina - I knew you would be a bread kisser by now since you live in Naples and all!Leanne was in Italy now in Australiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03240105726417037664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2945600374886655820.post-10504464422402840082008-03-19T22:44:00.000+01:002008-03-19T22:44:00.000+01:00I started to kiss the bread before throwing it awa...I started to kiss the bread before throwing it away after coming to Italy.Delinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03318448281699620966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2945600374886655820.post-50434842595496169802008-03-19T22:22:00.000+01:002008-03-19T22:22:00.000+01:00Hmm, this is interesting. My boyfriends family is from Bari (although they live in Milan now) and when he was here in the states with me last summer, if the bread got hard, we just threw it away and he never said a word. He's never even brought a woman home to meet his parents yet!Piccolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03498866286829017483noreply@blogger.com
