How great it is to be able to connect with someone who sees that hidden possibility. We have renovated before in Italy (it also had a chestnut room, is yours split level for smoking them?) and are about to do it all again (just bought a house in Veravo, Liguria). ciao for now LisaLisa Chiodohttp://www.facebook.com/posted.php?id=145699118798274&share_id=163516340341912&comments=1&po=1#!/pages/Renovating-Italy/102292373164636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2945600374886655820.post-90375163929232284162010-10-17T16:40:19.233+02:002010-10-17T16:40:19.233+02:00Hi Sarah-Elizabeth,

They use it now as a place to store stuff.

Hi Gil,
I have no idea why the fireplace part is all black. It doesn't really matter as we're just going to have to chip away at those parts too since all of the walls need to be enforced with some metal rods.

Hi LindyLouMac,
It does seem daunting to us at the moment, what with all that we have going on!!!Leanne was in Italy now in Australiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03240105726417037664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2945600374886655820.post-48828491793662385752010-10-15T20:13:19.360+02:002010-10-15T20:13:19.360+02:00It is so interesting following the plans of both y...It is so interesting following the plans of both you and Sarah Elizabeth as you start out on your renovation adventures. A big kitchen living room, playroom on the ground floor. Bedrooms and bathroom on the top floor for children once they are old enough, or maybe a self contained suite for the parents. It all sounds fabulous if not I imagine to you at the moment somewhat daunting. Take Care.LindyLouMachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12282788551449445133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2945600374886655820.post-48946713218256923402010-10-14T08:44:35.031+02:002010-10-14T08:44:35.031+02:00Looks like you two have really thought this out. ...Looks like you two have really thought this out.
