Just a quick post to say that I am alive and well here in Calabria. The internet connection - or lack of ADSL is driving me a little crazy as I cannot post photos and it takes forever just to bring up a webpage - thus the reason my adventures are not being shared with you all at the moment!
Bel ragazzo made his confirmation on Saturday and it went very well...well apart from the old women who love to push and shove people in the church to be sure they are the first to receive the communion. That is a story for another day!
We have also been visiting Albanian villages, abandoned villages (it was very exciting...although I don't think you can use this word as the village was forcefully abandoned...again this story will come another day.) We have been eating, and eating and eating some more...and trying to plan out trip to Puglia - we go next week.
On top of that we have a Baptism to attend this weekend, my birthday next week and as we gear up to Christmas and the New Year, I am planning a trip back to Australia while bel ragazzo will be working in the Canary Islands.
So a lot of stories to tell, but I like to tell my stories with photos so they will all be coming together sooner or later.
