I spoke to my family who reported that it was a sunny 27 degrees in Melbourne, Australia. Here is Rome it has been raining non-stop for days now and it is freezing cold outside...thus the reason I am refusing to leave the house today.
This is the first Easter that bel ragazzo and I have spent together as last year I was in Taormina, and he was in Calabria. Today we have had a non-traditional Easter as it is just the two of us, and technically I am working today (had some stupid customer call me at 8am this morning while I was sleeping to confirm his taxi to the airport...tomorrow! It was not even an urgent query so I did not wish him a happy easter!)Bel ragazzo has just left to work the afternoon shift. (We both work in the tourism industry...so no day for us is a holiday.)
For our lunch I whipped up some stuffed capsicums (a.k.a peppers) a little bit of cold pasta pesto salad and to top it off we have no Easter eggs but some M&Ms. And to make it all the less traditional we ate lunch still in our pyjamas!
